Psychiatric Social Work Intervention among Persons with Alcohol Dependence Syndrome

This paper is based on a research study conducted to assess the impact of psychiatric social work intervention among persons diagnosed with alcohol dependence, as specified by ICD-10 (DCR). Psychiatric social work intervention was provided to the participants for one month. Results from this study indicate that psychiatric social work interventions play an important role in the determination of treatment outcomes.
