Cognitive Interviews as a Method for Effective Cross-Cultural Research: A Study of Organisational Leaders in Sweden and India
Abstract
The research attempts to demonstrate the effectiveness of cognitive interview (CI)
techniques used while finalising the survey instrument for establishing the conceptual
equivalence of ethical values practiced by the managers of the selected organisations
from Sweden and India. The results provided substantive insight into the cultural differ-
ences that influence ethical values in the organisations. The paper highlights the types
and applications of CI in the study of the different fields of human behaviour.
